How do I know the amount that I will receive as a rebate?
Whenever you view a merchant listing, all you need to do is look at the rebate column next to that merchant. Rebates are in the form of percentages or fixed dollar amounts.

1. If you see a percentage then you will receive that percentage back on net purchases; (The net purchase is generally the total amount paid to the merchant minus tax, gift-wrapping, shipping, promotional credits, returns, cancellations, and transaction fees) i.e. if a merchant has 10% under the rebate column and you spend $500 then you will receive 50 vDollars (10%) as a rebate.

2. If the rebate is in the form of a fixed dollar amount or a range of numbers, just click on the rebate amount (in red) and you will be taken directly to the Rebate Information section of the Merchant Information area. You will be provided will full details of the rebate.

Do all purchases qualify for a rebate?
With a few exceptions, all purchases at merchant sites qualify for a rebate. You will not receive rebates for portions of a purchase that is paid for with vDollars, coupons, store credit, online currency or gift certificates. The following are items that do not qualify for a rebate:

Beyond.com: purchases of hardware.

Buy.com: purchases made within their "Travel" store.

Cooking.com, Tavolo and Gourmet Market: all All-Clad products.

Dell Computers: any purchase of Dell products and services in which the transaction is substantially completed by telephone or by a Dell salesperson.

FogDog: Any coupons issued from FogDog are not redeemable for cash, cannot be used with any other coupon, does not apply to shipping, handling and tax, does not apply to custom uniform orders, and cannot be used to purchase a gift certificate. Sale items are excluded, as are Oakley, Callaway, Air Jordan, Atec, Jugs, and Rawlings HOH products; as well as Wilson baseball and softball gloves, softball and baseball bats with a retail value over $150, basketball hoop systems, or any product with a retail value over $500.

More.com: Comfort Living products.

Sundial: telephone service packages.

Auction purchases at merchants that are not in the auction category are not eligible to earn rebates.

Prescriptions from all merchants are not eligible as well, due to Federal/State laws and regulations.

Monthly Deliveries, such as Wine-of-the-month clubs, monthly pet food deliveries and telephone service packages are not eligible for a rebate unless all months are paid for up front through bCorner.com.

What if the bCorner frame disappears while I am shopping?
If for one reason or another the bCorner frame disappears when you go to a merchant you will still earn your rebate as long as you entered the merchant site through bCorner.

Where does the rebate come from?
When you come to bCorner.com and click on a link to one of our merchants and purchase products or services, the merchants pay bCorner a percentage of the sale or a flat fee. bCorner then credits vDollars to your account out of the commission from the merchant.

Do I earn a rebate if I go to a merchant's site by clicking on a banner advertisement for that merchant?

Unfortunately, the only way for us to know if you went to a merchant site and made a purchase is if you go to the merchant from the merchant listing page or favorite merchant page. If you go to a merchant's site by clicking on a banner advertisement you will not earn a rebate on the purchase.

Do the merchants pay the rebates?
The entire rebate is paid by bCorner. The merchant pays us a commission on each transaction and we pay the rebate out of the commission.
